Location

From Geelong City:

Travel North from Latrobe Terrace onto the Princes Highway,

Turn LEFT at the SECOND Lara Exit,

Once off the highway, turn LEFT again at the T-intersection

Continue towards Lara, over the train lines to the round-about,
At the round-about turn RIGHT into Mill Rd.

Follow Mill Rd, it becomes Little River Ripley Rd after a few klm

Continue for approx 10 minutes until you are just past the You Yangs on your left and the road begins to bend left, towards the west and Bacchus Marsh Rd.

Just after the roads bends to the West you will travel under the high voltage power lines.

Mt Rothwell’s entrance road is approx 300m AFTER the high voltage lines on the LEFT

Travel along the gravel road, up the hill, past the old homestead and continue straight ahead to Mt Rothwell’s parking and entrance gate.

From the Geelong Ring Road:

Travel Melbourne bound along the new ring road.

Turn LEFT at the Lara Exit

Follow as above.

Alternatively,

Travel Melbourne bound along the new ring road.

Take the Bacchus Marsh Exit,

Follow for approx 10 min until you are just past the You Yangs on your right,

Turn RIGHT into Little River Ripley Rd.

Follow for a few klm until you PASS the Ford Proving Ground and Sandy Creek Rd on your right.

At the crest of the small rise ahead, a few hundred metres BEFORE the high voltage lines cross the road, Mt Rothwell Road (which is an unsealed road) will be on your RIGHT.
