Tertiary
Mt Rothwell’s predator-free environment offers unique opportunities for students focusing on Victorian habitat and wildlife. Throughout the educational year, Mt Rothwell hosts many tertiary students from a variety of courses. These include, Conservation and Land Management, Ecology, Biology, Zoology, Animal and Veterinary Bioscience, Bachelor of Science (various disciplines) and Nature Tourism. Several students use Mt Rothwell as a focus for a whole year while others come for just a night.
Various tertiary institutions, including University of Melbourne, Gordon TAFE, Latrobe University and Victoria University have incorporated Mt Rothwell in their educational programs. This may include a short visit or several visits throughout the year to note seasonal change in the environment.
Please contact us for further information about how Mt Rothwell may support tertiary educational programs.
